Here are some more information for Arriflex Movie:

Sometimes a person just wants to see a good crime solved. Take mobster films for example, these black and white classics still have the potential to entertain audience of all ages. So if you're getting tired of the same old story, try watching one of these old school crime dramas. Actors like James Cagney and Edward G. Robinson will have you on the edge of your seat.
Cagney made his re-entry into the mobster film genre with the film White Heat. Cagney had grown tired of producers stereo typing him, placing him in the same roles over and over again. But after significant pressure, he gave in to the producers' whims and gave viewers one of his best performances ever. Cagney's character, Cody Jarrett, finds himself with two problems: he can't stay out of prison, and he's obsessed with his mama. Once he finally makes his way out of jail, he tackles his next job. Cagney made movie history with the final scene of White Heat. Those who watch this movie will have its images permanently burned in their minds.
With two versions, Scarface made it impact during two separate decades. The 1932 version still shocks viewers in the twenty-first century. And the Brian De Palma edition put out decades later is most famous for just one thing: Al Pacino. In the original film, the main character, Tony Camonte, is played by Paul Muni. Police arrest Tony for suspected murder when his boss Big Louis Costillo goes missing. But the body never turns up, and the police let Tony go. Like any good mobster, Tony then goes through town with the purpose of controlling the mafia territory by using stereotypical muscle. The film reaches a climax when Tony has to deal with his enemies, friends, family, police, and ultimately, his own destructive personality.
Because of its gratuitous violence, the 1932 version of Scarface directed by Howard Hawks, faced censorship for decades. Because of its independent production, producer Howard Hughes flexed his creative muscles and allowed much more violence than any other producer would. Scarface offers a shocking and powerful film experience.
Warner Brothers released the film Public Enemy in 1931. Cagney stars in this film as well, playing the part of real-life Chicago mobster, Earl "Hymie" Weiss. The social overtones alone make this film stand out above the rest. Instead of the wanting the audience to just accept Cagney's violent character, producers aimed to explain why the character has fallen into a life of crime.
Even classic literature makes its way into mobster film. The Killlers is based on an Ernest Hemingway film. Burt Lancaster, Ava Gardner, and Edmond O'Brien create a film that viewers won't forget soon.
Finally, Cagney also made his mark through the film Angels With Dirty Faces. The genuine warmth in this film makes it unique, with a cast full of children. Unlike other mobster films, this one makes the viewer think about the social aspect of the mob.

Essay: Technical Specifications of Gladiator
Cameras play a very vital role now days in the filming of a movie. The cameras that were used during the filming of Gladiator included Aaton XTR, Arriflex 35 III, Panavision Panaflex Gold II and Panavision Panaflex Platinum, Primo 11:1 and 3:1 Zoom Lenses.
Post production:
As the movie is dealing with historical events and to give a real look of the ancient Rome was a difficult task, the British post Production Company the Mill was handed over the responsibility of the CGI (computer graphic imagery) effects. The effects were used in different scenes in the film, for instance the sequence when there was a fight going on between the tigers and the gladiator different tricks were used to give a real look of the tigers. Apart from that 2000 actors were used to create a magnanimous 35000 virtual actors. Tremendous amount of work was done in this regard as to make them look real and believable in the fight scenes. The techniques that were used by the mill was that they started shooting live actors from different angles and different costumes and then composition of them with the help of 3D animation (Rance, 2009).
Accuracy:
The movie is largely based on historical events so the script was consulted by different historians to find any loop holes in it. One of the historians resigned from the movie due to the changes that were made in the history by the writers. Apart from that the character of Maximus is also fictional some other events were changed so as to make the movie interesting.
Sound:
The sound in the movie was provided by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Garrard. The soundtrack was nominated in the Oscars. Gladiator's soundtrack is one of the most popular and best selling film score of all time.
Acting:
The acting from all the actors were top of the class, strong acting performance was presented by the entire cast, but the performance of Russell Crowe stands alone in the movie. The depth that he has shown in the movie especially when there is a sequence in the movie when Commodous asks Maximus to remove his mask and show his real face and then Maximus turns towards Commodous and relies "My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next". Among the others this is one particular scene in which the pain and fire of vengeance in the eyes of Crowe could be seen.
This is also proved by the fact that Crowe received the 73rd Academy Award for the nomination of best actor in Gladiator. Joaquin Phoenix was also nominated for the best supporting actor nomination.

HI,
I am a independent filmmaker. At this point if my life i would like to concentrate making movies. Although, I have complete shooting a movie which I used a canon XH A1. I must be honest, and say that I did not like it as much, cause it is too fancy.
I want know which camera is the best for filming feature films. Does anyone uses arriflex, or bolex anymore. Nowadays, HD cameras are in the spot light. But i do not want a HD.
Please help me decide for a feature film camera.
