Is it okay to use just regular body lotion for the tanning bed?

I'm new at the whole tanning thing, and can't really afford the one's from the salon. I was just wondering if it would work. or what i can buy from like target or wal-mart that will help.

regular lotion doesnt do anything for you. the actually tanning lotion is made for the tanning bed because it has bronzers in it to help you get darker quicker. you should start off with an accelorator lotion. Just ask the salon you tan at and they can help you more . have fun =]
