Camera Remote Release

Let’s say you are in the business of taking photos that are in places where you cannot sit and wait for long or there is no room for you just your camera. Then you will probably need a camera remote release. All you will do is setup your camera in the position you want or where you know you can get the shot you want.

Before the camera remote release came to play there was the cable release which was doing quite well before its counterpart came into play. The cable release can still be used even today and will do a pretty good job.
The work of the camera remote release as well as the cable release was to take photos without you standing next to the camera. What the release will do is click the button of the camera and you will get the shot without you standing next to it. You will however have to set it in the position and direction you want.

The differences between the two releases are not that big, however the remote release will give you the photo without any shakes or movements. The cable release will give you a slightly shake but has been known not to.
With the new digital age the remote release has proven itself a hundred percent and even though the cable release has its slight problem of being slightly unstable or shaky, it has done a good job until now.  The remote release has proven its worth and replaced the cable release.

How do you install/replace a trunk release cable to a 2000 Chevy Cavalier?

Just spoke to a auto technician in one of the Chevrolet dealerships here in my hometown. Turns out, the release cable is attatched to trunk hood and is going to replace for me as we speak. Thanks for the insight and info.

The Cavalier has an electronic release solenoid on the rear deck lid latch, which is operated by the release button on the drivers knee bolster panel. There is no trunk release cable on the Cavalier
