What kind of battery can I use for my Asahi Pentax Spotmatic 35mm camera?

The camera is still good but the battery I had in the camera died. It was a 387S silver disc with a rubber thing around it. I've looked everywhere for this battery including Staples, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and Home Depot and I still have not found it. Does anyone know of another battery that I could use in place of the 387S that won't ruin my camera? I can't keep looking for this battery if it does not exist anymore, so if someone knows what battery I can use to replace this one, that would be awesome. Thanks for your help.
If at all possible I would like to buy the replacement at the store...I have seen them online but i dont want to wait for them to come in the mail...so does anyone know of a replacement battery I can use instead since I cant find the battery at the store?

The original battery specification was for the PX625 mercury cell which is now banned in most countries for environmental reasons.

Suitable replacements include the S400PX (voltage slightly over, though the Spotmatic series seems to meter correctly with them) or the Weincell MRB400 (a better choice).

If your "rubber thing" is actually an H-B adapter sold for the Spotmatic line, you can use any of the following cells: 377, SR626SW, SR66.
