When do Red light camera take the picture?

I live in California and was making a left turn when I saw the light turn red. I STOPPED immediately, but a little bit of my wheels and the hood of my car made it past the first line by a little bit (not even enough to block the crosswalk) out of two that form a crosswalk. Do you think the camera flashed or would take the picture?

I don't agree with Joseph, but the technology may have changed since I was on the job. I worked with them and can tell you that they were designed to take a picture of a vehicle that enters the intersection *after* the light turns red. In your case the instant you crossed the 'stop' line you were in violation *if* the light turned red before that instant. If so then you might receive a ticket in the mail. Good luck!!
