How much would it cost to repair a camera or should I get a new one?

I have a A730 from General Electric. I had a warranty but its expired.I dropped the camera a couple of months ago and it still works but little lines show up on some of the pictures.Does anyone have an idea roughly how much it will cost to repair it?I was thinking of taking it to Best Buy, my cousin took hers there for the same problem and she said it cost about 25 dollars.

The thing with Digital cameras now days is, they are made and improved so quickly a lot of companies don't manufacture a lot of spare parts for them, because they will just make another better camera a few months later.
