Here are some more information for Cameras Flash:

Throughout the UK every county has a high number of speed cameras. You'd be hard pushed to drive anywhere where there are no speed cameras to flash at you. Most cameras will allow you a 10% margin but some cameras are calibrated to such an accurate level they can catch you just 1 mph over the speed limit.
It's important to understand what you need to do if you end up with a speed camera fine. Since there are many different types of cameras there are also many different ways to get caught. Some cameras will catch you from in front and some from behind. Some cameras will flash so you know you're been caught, some have no visible flash.
If you're not sure if you've been caught but you know you were over the speed limit and the camera didn't flash you'll need to wait a couple of weeks to see if a notice of intended prosecution arrives through your letterbox.
Some cameras are not operational so therefore may not catch you. Even if a speed camera did flash you, you still might not get a letter through your letterbox.
However, if you do receive a letter of intended prosecution you might be able to appeal the speed camera fine. Appealing the fine will generally involve a court hearing and you'll need good, strong grounds to appeal on.
There will also need to be strong evidence to prove you were over the speed limit so the camera that caught you will need a valid calibration certificate and photographic evidence.
Luckily a new website has been launched to help those in need of advice on how to appeal their speeding fine. UKSpeeding.com offers a comprehensive guide to appealing a speeding fine, including information and examples of successful appeals.
Don't loose your driving license, fight back!
Camera flash – one of the best features of the camera
Utilising the camera flash could be confusing for beginner photographer. Most of them are unknown about the area limits or the distance that its light could reach. By this, it means that to some distance only the flash would be useful, further than that, having a flash on wouldn’t be of any good.
For instance, if a parent is clicking a photo of their kids fifty feet away from the performance stage in the dark auditorium is the case in a point. Later they come to know that they have clicked the pictures of audience’s heads who where sitting in front and the child is hardly seen.
Such thing happens due to the subject being very far away from the camera of the photographer. The flash light is not sufficiently strong for reaching the distance. Flash elucidate only that area which it can and that is what a camera captures.
Normally the digital cameras have much limited flash varieties than the DSLR (digital single lens reflex) or the point and shoot. Among all these three, most strong as well expensive DSLR comprise largest flash range, however, this has its limits as well.
In most of the ‘point and shoot’ cameras, incorporated flash is able to illuminate the space from five feet to ten feet away. Superior end models may manage fifteen to twenty feet; however, these are not much common.
Digital single lens reflex might be availed with incorporated flash which could lighten up the objects which are as far as thirty feet or even more. Nevertheless, this relies on the quality of the camera, flash of the camera as well as on what all a camera settings permit. In a default – automatic mode, many of the incorporated digital single lens reflex flashes reach about ten to fifteen feet. In case, if you don’t know to switch off the camera flash then you can take the help of the camera manual.

Do traffic light cameras flash as soon as it changes to amber?
I went through a traffic light junction earlier which has a camera (catching red light runners) and the light had just changed to amber a split second b4 i passed the stop line but I was definatly past the line b4 it got to red, would I still get done? and i was not going at speed or anything either.
Wd i still get done, do they activate as soon as they start to change or give a few seconds or summin lee-way or wt? cheers in advance
The cameras wont activate on amber.
However, many stop light cameras' are timed with an amber light of only two seconds instead of the usual four seconds....after all they are there to raise revenue, not to increase public safety.
Red-light cameras go ‘green’ in West Orange
The city of Ocoee has collected more than $360,000 in fines from red-light runners since the city mounted cameras at key intersections in 2009.
