Hearing so many great information about Canon D10, I was immediately convinced to purchase one for me. I normally go mountain climbing on weekends and need a reliable camera that would stand on changing weathers that is common on mountains. When I read on one of the reviews that it can take crisp photos on different weathers, I did not hesitate to get one. Looking at its photos online, the Canon D10 looks handy enough for any adventure and the price is ideal for a good quality camera from Canon.
As a Canon user, I'm pretty satisfied with its quality. After deciding to get a D10 for me, I immediately rushed to a local store near my place and bought one. The auto mode is also present wherein the camera will automatically detect your current condition. Canon digital camera also has a feature that will allow you to take photos just an inch or two from the subject and still look perfectly fine.. How do I remove date on Canon Digital IXUS 8015?
Help - hubby has lost the manual to my Canon Digital IXUS 8015 - can anyone tell me how to remove the date so that it does not show up on pictures? Thanks!
Turning the Date Stamp off is a very good idea, not only because your images are permantly marred if you use this option...but also, because the Date Stamp can ONLY be used in very low resolution images of 2MP (1600 x 1200).
Your 8MP camera shoots images at a best quality of Large/Superfine (3264 x 2448) so all you would really have to do to stop the Date Stamp, is change your image resolution and quality back to this Large/Superfine setting.
If you have lost the User Guide for your Ixus 80 IS (also known as SD1100 IS), I recommend you go to the link below to download and save it, because you really can't do without it...

Embedding the Date (or turning it off) can be found on pages 20-21...I recommend you turn it off and then change your image resolution and quality back to Large/Superfine for the best possible quality images.
