How do you change the case on a microsoft word document? year 2003?

I started typing something in microsoft word on my phone in all caps and i transferred it onto my computer but now i can't get it to go back to regular lowercase and it wont let me change it in the change case part of the format menu and it wont do it by changing the font. Any ideas?
