Can I glue together a broken handle on a pot lid? If so, what kind of glue should I use?

I just broke the handle on a pot lid. It's part of a set and fits all my other pots perfectly. I don't want to have to buy a new set just to replace one lid. I'm wondering if I can glue it back together. I'm concerned because of the high heat associated with cooking. This pot lid covers my skillet as well as a large soup pot and gets a lot of use. Thanks!

A lot of glues will work but I wouldnt do it.
The changes of temp could cause the glue to fail at a bad time.
Try getting in touch with the manufacturer to see if they can give you a replacement.
