Yahoo Messenger [9.0 BETA] : There were times when my friends sent instant messages but I didn't receive it?

Why does this happen? It happened before this, too but I thought that was because I used an older edition of YM so recently I downloaded this one and the same thing happens. Please help! I've always missed out important messages and these kind of troubling things

Make sure they use it the right way because some people after writing their msgs, they erase it by closing them wrongly & that's the source of the problem!
