i would like to know what is macro extension tube ? how it works, is it works on all types of lens ? i have sigma 70-300 APO with 1:2 macro will it help me additional if i use macro ring on it ? i also have canon 18-55 IS lens, can i use macro ring tube on it ? which one will give me better result ? is macro rings decrease picture result ?
