Here are some more information for Film Slr:

If you've ever used a basic camera before, you know that all you really need to do is aim the camera, push the button and you've got your picture. But have you ever thought how that all happens? Unfortunately, many people never stop to understand the intricate way in which a camera actually works - knowing why and how your camera does what it does can make your photos stronger and increase your ability to adapt to changing situations. With that in mind, here's a quick rundown on what's going on in the case of your camera.
The Guts of the Camera
Camera technology hasn't changed a lot over the years considering that all cameras are lightproof boxes that control the amount of light and timing of a piece of film's (or digital sensor's) exposure to light. Most cameras nowadays are what is called "single-lens reflex," or SLR for short. This simply means that they have one primary lens and some sort of mirror system that gets the actual lens image to our eye. A camera lens actually sees things upside down so in order for our eyes to see it right side up the image is reflected by a mirror into a prism.
The benefits of looking directly through the lens as opposed to a representation of what it would be (seen in many digital cameras) means that your photographs will always come out almost exactly as they looked when you framed them up. Behind the shutter there is one frame of film (or light sensitive cells) waiting to be exposed - when you push the "take picture" button the shutter lifts for a fraction of a second and the image hits the film instead of bouncing into the mirror. It's worth noting that new digital SLRs actually work in the exact same way, except instead of film being exposed it's an array of light sensitive cells.
Making Adjustments to Your Camera
Naturally, one size does not fit all in terms of how long the shutter stays open. If the shutter is open for too long it will over-expose the film, and if it's not open long enough the film will be under-exposed. This is why your camera either allows you to adjust the shutter speed manually, or will figure out what the appropriate speed is automatically.
If you want to let in more or less light into the camera, all you have to do is change the camera's aperture settings. Around the lens of an SLR camera, you'll find a ring with a bunch of f stop numbers listed. These f stop numbers represent the size of the aperture opening. A high number denotes a small opening and very little light, whereas a low number means the aperture is wide-open and will allow more light to hit the film.
With so many different parts working together it's easy to see how complex the art of photography can be. Thank goodness that most cameras do the calculations for us, but being able to manually adjust the f stop and shutter speed is an important foundation for any serious photographer. Understanding how your camera's parts interact with one another gives you more options for controlling the final image, and more options are almost always a good thing.
Try to always have at least one roll of film (or a part of a memory card) to have available so you can experiment with the individual settings on your camera. You should shoot a bunch of pictures just working with various shutter speeds, then try a few only adjusting the f-stop. As you get more comfortable with how your camera works, you'll be able to create better pictures by being able to adjust your camera to get exactly what you want.

450D Cameras - Slr Great All Round
I had 450D Cameras for about 10 months and very happy that I made the right choice. My other option that I almost went to at the time of Sony and Nikon 300/350 D60.I am very grateful to the boy in a popular photo shop to help me make a decision after all it was a lot of money.
450D Cameras had everything I was looking for! Watch Live! mega pixels enough, metering, etc in addition to the enormous amount of accessaries used you could get on ebay. I picked up some very good used EOS lens on the cheap and took some great photos while on holiday in India and Gran Canaria and magnificent photos of family celebrations / occasions. Some people have commented on the kit lens. I think it's one of the best all-terrain IS lens can have. Canon is not stupid to make their best seller for nothing!
Also if you and I moved from film SLR Compact / or new to digital SLR photography, I strongly recommend a book by The Ben Long 'fellow Canon Eos XSi/450D "It explains each buttons and functions of this camera in detail PLUS this is I really liked about the book, an entire class of digital photography with their own 450D Cameras. What more you want! A real bargain for the price!
450D Cameras - My First Venture Into Serious Photography
This was my first "serious" camera, after years of teasing with the SNP and bridge cameras, I wanted something that would give me more flexibility (lenses) and greater control over what I was photographing (adjustments).
I managed to bag second hand 450D Cameras with kit lens IS almost exactly 400 pounds. The 450D Cameras screen is beautiful, half an inch larger than the 1000D. The controls are nice to use, and have had no real problems so far. The body is unfortunately made of plastic, while the 40D's magnesium alloy. But the price is right.
A major negative point I have noticed about the 450D Cameras is the camera quick-AF is less than perfect, if only the central point. The shot can often help to make it more accurate, but very often a little back / front focus, producing very slightly "soft" shots. You can avoid this by using contrast detection AF Live View, which is very accurate, or just manual focus.
If you are looking for a first SLR to consider this one. It's like the 1000D, but offers little more advantages, including sensitivity in the central AF point up to f/2.8, a larger screen and faster shooting in RAW. The difference is negligible megapixel sensor size really does not want to climb more than 12 MP anyway.

Does anyone know if its possable to use Lomographic film with a normal film SLR?
I would like to see if I can get the same affects out of lomo film with my film SLR. I dont see the point in buying a lomo camera when I have many expencive SLR's. I just want to know if anyone has tryed this before.
Yes you can ... if your Lomographic camera uses 120 film then any medium format SLR uses that film (Hasselblad, Mamiya, etc) and of course if your Lomographic camera is converted to 35mm, any 35mm SLR will shoot it.
Of course all this stands to reason. Any camera that uses 120 will use 120 film and the same for 35mm ... a universal truth.
You will NOT get the same effects you would get using a Lomographic camera. The reason is your SLR camera has a real lens, not a plastic one. It also can focus, the Lomographic camera's are fixed focus at about 2 meters (6 feet) and your SLR camera has totally adjustable f/stops and shutter speeds. The Lomographic camera has only a few. You would have to work very hard to duplicate the poor quality images from Lomographic camera's, especially the typical vignetting.
