John Smith had left school two years ago, and was already working as a trainee manager in a large supermarket chain. He could have gone to university, but developed a taste for the commercial world during his part time work, while still at school. He was fortunate to get a couple of relieving opportunities, while supermarket managers were on leave. That was all very well, but not the level he was aspiring to achieve.
John had exceptional PR skills, and loved travelling and meeting new people, but just could not see enough creative potential in the supermarket field. His dream, or desired outcome in life, was to have a more creative role, important and challenging, but not too routine. He knew it was important to have a good track record, so he always tried his best at whatever duties he was given. In his mental plan, these were the stepping stones to his goal. Even though his dream may not materialise for months or years, it was essential to maintain that inspiration, by learning as much as he could. John was still doing management courses, which his employers provided, and he was always talking to sales reps, or anyone he could find with management experience.
One day a position was advertised with a large company that supplied over twelve hundred items to supermarkets. It was a kind of marketing manager and PR role combined. It required looking after visiting company personnel, both socially, and attracting their business.
John knew he would love this job, but it looked a bit out of reach, with his limited experience at the age of twenty one. He was excited though, because it fitted in perfectly with his mental image that he had stored. That was the detailed picture of his goal that he had clearly saved in his deep memory, and would recall frequently, to keep himself motivated.
Now it was time to do some profound lateral thinking, something which his father was good at ( me ). He knew of one chap he had met a couple of times, that once worked for the company that had placed this ad. John contacted him, and arranged a time to meet. This semi retired chap was very willing to chat and update John with what he thought he should know about the company, in the event of securing an interview.
Well, that did happen, John was one of forty applicants accepted for an interview, except that the other thirty nine all had university degrees. John's enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge about the company must have impressed them - he got the job.

The Many Different Types of Ipod Cases Available for you to Buy
If you have an iPod, then you can be sure that you also already have many of the accessories geared for an iPod. These include such things as iPod cases, covers, screen protectors, car kits, FM transmitters, and even iPod socks.
No, these aren’t the type of socks that you can wear, but they are instead socks for your iPod to go into. They come in different colors and are normally available in packs of six socks or so. They are cute and they can be useful, but they are no way a good substitute for iPod cases.
Whereas the iPod socks will protect your iPod to some extent (it protects the screen and can keep your iPod from getting dirty), they do not give the same protection to your iPod that iPod cases do. However, not all iPod cases are the same, so if you’re thinking of getting a case to protect your iPod, you might first want to check whether it does the job it’s supposed to.
If you are interested then, you will find that there are many different types of cases available to buy, and they come in the same different sizes that the iPods come in as well. This is because one shoe, or in this case, iPod cases, won’t fit them all. Since the iPod also comes in a number of different sizes, the iPod cases are also manufactured to come in those specific sizes.
So you can’t get a case for an iPod shuffle and expect it to fit your iPod mini or even your iPod nano. One size most definitely does not fit all. If you wanted to though, you could invest in a case which was slightly larger than your iPod size, and this way when you throw in your old iPod for a newer generation iPod, you can be certain that of all the iPod cases that you have, this one will fit your new one as well!
iPod cases can also come in a variety of different materials, ranging from leather iPod cases to hard cover iPod cases to silicone type iPod cases. New iPod armbands also have a casing to place your iPod in, instead of a clip to clip it on. The best use for these types of iPod cases however, is for people who are constantly on the go and who love to use their iPod to workout with.

NY police seek man seen around explosive-laden SUV
Police probing the Times Square car bomb case have zeroed in their search on a white man in his 40s who was seen on surveillance videos shedding his shirt and walking away from the area where the explosive-laden vehicle was found. Over 45 kgs of fertilizer, with fireworks and wires fitted around was found with the bomb, police said, but it was not the ammonium nitrate grade that can explode.
