Analysis: This belt, when worn without any other items from the Set, has no bonuses to Resistances. However, it does have a very big bonus to Life along with the always-good-to-have Cannot be Frozen mod. Worn alone, Trang-Oul's Girth might not seem so attractive, but if you wear two other items from the set, you get a very nice +40% to Cold Resistance.

Analysis: This pair of gloves is perhaps the most useful for non-Necromancers out of all the items in the entire set. The 20% Faster Cast Rate just screams 'Caster gloves' while any character can enjoy the +30% to Cold Resistance. The 25% to Poison Skill Damage is a major boost in damage to anyone who uses a Poison Skill (mainly the Necromancer, but the Assassin and Druid also have Poison Skills to use). And of course, Necromancers get the wonderful +2 To Curses.

Analysis: This grisly Shield can only be equipped by Necromancers, and thus only Necromancers can ever wear the full Trang-Oul's Avatar Set. Right off the bat, it has relatively low Strength requirements so you can wear it as soon as you reach the minimum level requirement. Not only that but it grants you a +25 bonus to Strength and a +15 bonus to Dexterity, which will help you with the Strength/Dexterity requirements of other equipment you might come across. The high boosts to both Poison and Fire Resistance add to the usefulness of Trang-Oul's Wing. If a Necromancer uses this, and wears two other items, he can even break the immunity of Poison Immune monsters due to the -25% to Enemy Poison Resistance.

Final Summary for Trang-Oul's Avatar:

The Trang-Oul's Avatar Set Items have good stand-alone mods for the most part. The Set also has attractive Individual Item Set Partial Bonuses, Entire Set Partial Bonuses and Full set Bonuses, and the class that most benefits from these bonuses are Necromancers. Wearing the Full Set even transforms your Necromancer from pale-skinned human into a quick-moving Vampire onscreen.

Note: In regards to wearing the Full Set, and then turning into a Vampire, it should be noted that when this happens, the Necromancer will find that his casting delay has increased, resulting in slower casting of his Skills. This is a bug, and has been reported to Blizzard.

Note 2: Should a Sorceress wear up to four pieces of Trang-Oul's avatar, she will only receive Partial Set Bonuses with a maximum cap of +3 to Fire Ball, Fire Wall and Meteor (as opposed to +18, +13, +10 respectively). This is due to the fact that these skills are native to Sorceresses.

Pioneer Peak Swing Set Review

The Pioneer Peak is the top of the Blue Ridge Gorilla Playset line of swing sets. This "Ready To Assemby" playset is made out of factory stained and sealed pine. All of the up post (vertical support beams) and the swing beam are constructed of Preserved Pine and and considered maintenance free because of the poly coating they are treated with. This does not mean that you will not have to treat or stain this swing set. It simply means that the support system for this set does not require any maintenance. This is a huge plus.

The Pioneer Peak is a rather large residential playground. its foot print is 23' wide by 25' long. Gorilla Playsets recommends a safety zone of 33' x 35' to accommodate this playset. When it comes to features, the Pioneer Peak is not lacking. This playground comes with the following standard features:

There is something to spark the imagination of every child. What I really like about this swing set is that the activities are spread out throughout the entire unit. The is not only a bonus for safety reasons but as a parent it keeps the kids from being on top of one another. The one feature that seems to really draw the kids was the clatter bridge to the slide. The bridge posed as a minor obstacle for the kids and this gave them a thrill. Having the second tower with a slide at the end of the bridge really controls the traffic flow while kids are playing.

The Pioneer Peak is a rather large project to assemble. It took two of us just over 12 hours. Like all swing sets, the key in my opinion was staying organized. Keep track of all of your parts and components. The more organized you are the quicker and easier the Pioneer Peak will come together.

Like all Gorilla Playsets, I am very impressed with the design. Safety is the primary focus in design but functionality and kids interests are closely behind. I would definitely recommend this swing set.

How much is a full set of blueprints for the bluenose 2 worth in mint condition?

I have a set of laminated, mint condition blueprints from the bluenose 2. I have no idea what it is worth. My father passed away receintly. It was given to his father by Don Oland (who financed it's building). Any educated guesses?

what is the bluenose 2? whatever it is, i'm guessing it was patented and you having the blueprints sounds like they might be valuable to bluenose 2 manufacturers, if only to keep them falling into any competitor's hands. Yeah, this sounds like someone would want them (the blueprints). I wouldn't advertise having ownership, someone may start tailing you...and....(shudders)...you never know what could happen--and did you just hear that sound?...........ah, just the wind........................okay, good luck................................ crrreeeeek....
