Step 1. Transfer your home movies/videos to computer

For VHS and Analog Camcorder Tapes: If you own a computer with a video capture card, this is typically the best and easiest option for converting your video. How can I upload a Home Movie DVD to my computer?

I am trying to upload a home movie DVD on to my computer so I can make a copy of it. Why does my computer even have a DVD burner on it? I mean it seems to be a HUGE pain to actually burn one.

import it into windows movie maker and use windows dvd maker to make a dvd. If you don't have dvd maker you can buy pinnacle or other dvd burner software that will do the trick.
