Here are some more information for Leica Lenses:

I owned a number of Nikon SLR digital cameras so far, and in this article I will talk about the D90 model.
D90 Pros
- The ISO capability is the same as that of Nikon D300.
- The layout is very intuitive, something that Nikon is recognized for.
- The number of frames per second, card access and fast focus
- The ability to make videos, a first for a DSLR
Cons
- The video doesn't have AF and the audio quality is weak
- The kit lens is not as good as Nikon claims
If the toughness of the kit lens that comes with the camera isn't important for you, this camera is a good choice. If you're a bit more advanced and you want better lenses, you can wait a bit and buy only the body, which shows up after the release of the kit.
When I decided to buy the D90, I already had a period of research where I looked at a number of different cameras. What I really wanted was the D300 model, because it was waterproof and it had a magnesium body, but the extra $600 wasn't worth those features.
The sensor of the model I bought, the D90, is the same with the one that comes with the D300 camera, so the ISO capabilities are the same. Some of the reviews I read said that the noise reduction of the D90 model is better than it was for D300. If you also use the Nikon VR lenses, you can take good photos at very reduced shutter speeds.
The layout of the controls is very good. The choices that have single buttons are all well chosen: image quality, previous shot, ISO and white balance.
When I bought the digital camera, making videos wasn't my first choice, and that was a good thing since the quality isn't the best. You can easily buy $200 digital cameras that will take much better videos than this DSLR can. I don't understand why they would add a video feature if they didn't do it well.
Many people will do OK with the kit lens of this camera, but it could've been much better.
All in all, the camera is very good. I just wish it had some weather proofing, though at this price you can't really expect that. Besides that, this camera does it all at an OK level. Some problems exist though, and the four stars rating reflects just that.
Getting the perfect Nikon SLR camera, is never an easy thing, due to the constantly changing technology. Fortunately, there are plenty of helpful websites online, that can narrow down your search and help you find the Nikon SLR camera with all the features important to you.

Face detection?
It'll find up to 15 faces, so all you have to do is find 15 people to pretend to be your friends. Panasonic reckons it'll work even if a face moves or turns into profile.
There are many digital cameras available for less than £100, but very few of them are worth buying. Most have badly-made plastic bodies, low quality lenses, slow and clumsy performance and worse image quality than some mobile phone cameras. At this price level even models from well-known brands are best avoided. Rather than buying the cheapest camera you can find, it's usually a better idea to save up another £30-40 and get something that's actually worth having.
Panasonic has just announced the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS62 digital camera. The 10.1-megapixel compact features Panasonic Mega O.I.S image stabilisation system, Intelligent ISO control, Face Detector and Intelligent Scene Selector. The image stabiliser offers Mode 1, Mode 2 and a new Auto mode; while the Face Detector can recognise up to 15 faces and allows continuous AF/AE adjustment even if a face turns sideways. The camera, which boasts a 4x Leica DC Vario-Elmarit zoom lens.
Responding to market demand, Panasonic is pleased to announce a new addition to the simple and stylish Lumix FS series expands its line-up with the DMC-FS62. Compact and slim, the 10.1-megapixel FS62 offers all of the features inherent to the popular FS series, including ease of use, high specification, and good looks.

Comprising of four major functions (MEGA O.I.S, Intelligent ISO Control, Face Detection and Intelligent Scene Selector) that work together to provide the best possible shooting results everytime. The two most advanced countermeasures against blurring - MEGA O.I.S (Optical Image Stabiliser) to compensate for hand-shake and Intelligent ISO Control to detect and suppress motion blur - are built into the FS6 and FS7.
Zoom in
The 10.1-megapixel DMC-FS62 digital camera packages a bright F2.8 Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens with 4x optical zoom into a slim, compact body. The zoom ratio can be extended up to7.1x in 3-megapixel recording using the Extra Optical Zoom. What (if anything) makes Leica lenses superior to all others?
Good question. Leica lenses are regarded as the most prestigious of them all. The truth is that their designs of old were made on licence by all the big names today, both Canon and Nikon originated from it. That makes Leica the daddy.
Leica in the world of handheld cameras has remained relatively stable, designing cameras and lenses to be produced out of only the best materials, using the most up to date technology. However all of this does come as a huge cost. This is why the Leica M8 costs £3000 and lenses mostly cost £1000+.
In more recent times, Canon, Nikon, Sigma and Tamron have become much more larger lens makers. Canon's L-series of lenses are renowned for their quality. For example Canon's 1200mm f5.6L, this lens was made with single crystal fluorite elements that take a year to grow, this is the lengths that Canon go to to make their lenses, no shorter than Leica, and this lens had a pricetag to match, now only available used it costs $120,000.
Then there is Sigma's 70-200mm f2.8, this is a very fast versatile telephoto lens, loved by everyone for it's low pricetag and high performance. While it can't live up to Nikon's and Canon's own offerings. It does offer a large amount of their performance at 1/2 the price.
So you see, while Leica is still at the top of the game, the gap is closer, while the price difference has remained the same. You buy Leica because of two things:
1) It has a heart and soul, unlike it's Japanese counterparts
2) You want the absolute best. No compromise whatsoever.

I really like this article on your site. There are many photo websites that are just plain bad in existance, yet this is simply not one of those. This theme you have used certainly enhances the feel and then compliments this article perfectly. I will revisit and see more of your hard work. Many thanks!
