Here are some more information for Lens Nikon:

Complete your digital SLR camera with a lens for advanced close-ups with a Nikon AF-S Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR lens. Macro photography is all about shooting close-ups of things. Everything from insects, flowers, matches or whatever you want! There is a whole new world opening up when photographing things enlarged. Macro Photography is also an area that can be difficult to master because the depth of field becomes very important in getting the image sharp.
For the first time, Nikon's innovative VR technology in a macro lens, Nikon AF-S Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR, a lens with a high resolution and excellent optical performance, created for both analogue and digital photography. The lens integrates Nikon's next era of Vibration Reduction (VR II), which helps keep the image sharp with up to 4 steps slower shutter speeds than without VR.
To have image stabilization in a macro lens is as rare as it is self-evident. It is not always possible to use a tripod and in close-up photography we often use a small aperture to get a greater depth of field. A combination that can easily lead to camera shake.
IF (Internal Focusing) ensure that the front lens does not move or change size when focusing. SWM (Silent Wave Motor) that drives the focus is extremely quiet and fast. ED glass minimizes aberrations and increases image contrast and sharpness, and finally there is the new Nano Crystal Coating, which ensures that the ghosting and extraneous light does not affect the picture at all.
- World's first macro lens with vibration reduction (VR)
- VR II function allows you to capture sharp images even at close-ups and in low light, corresponding to images taken with the shutter speed 4 stops faster.
- Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for quiet and fast autofocus and quick and easy switching between AF and manual focus.
- ED glass reduces chromatic aberration.
- Nano Crystal Coating (anti-reflective coating) a drastic curtailment internal reflections and flare, giving detailed and clear images.
- Thanks to the IF design (internal focus), the front lens element can move without rotation, which facilitates the use of circular polarizers and flash attachments to the lens.
- AF with switching to manual focus or manual only (MF)
- 9 aperture blades make the aperture more circular, resulting in the blurry image elements look more natural.
- 62mm filter thread (non-rotating)

Nikon D40 Lenses
Purchasing a Nikon D40 DSLR camera is taking a higher step into a more serious photography and it is a perfect entry-level DSLR from Nikon.
Entry-level cameras are created and designed for those who are moving up from a standard point and hoot camera. They are for the average photographer who needs a little bit more from a camera in terms of performance and image quality.
Here are some tips on buying Nikon D40 DSLR Camera.
- If you have a tight budget, the first thing that will come up on your mind will be buying a used Nikon D40, so that your budget will fit but be careful when buying a used Nikon D40. Make sure that the connectors are not won and broken, if possible, try to examine the camera to ensure it is in good condition. Also check for some dead or stuck pixel on the LCD of the camera, while this won’t affect taken photographs but it can be annoying when composing photos or reviewing some pictures you have taken.
- Buying it on a holiday deal. Set budget first before purchasing a Nikon D40 DSLR camera and make sure that it has some extra batteries, memory cards, a free cleaning kit, photo printer and possibly a camera bag to save money from freebies like this. A lot of money will go to waste for spending it for some features that you don’t need or don’t know how to use it.
- Be careful when purchasing via an auction. Some high feedback ratings aren’t all legitimate or true. In auctions it gives the seller a great way to get rid of their old equipments as well as for buyers to come away with great bargains. When browsing some Nikon d40 DSLR on some auction sites, it is easy to get caught up with the idea of feedback ratings, while no one recommends purchasing items from sellers with many negative feedback ratings; all high feedback ratings may not be all true.
- You might not stick with a kit lens, purchasing a DSLR package with kit lens is sure a good buy but if you are planning to go wide-angle or zoom-in closer, you might try to buy just the body only and add a wide-angle lens or a lens that you want because kit lens that comes with the D40 DSLR packages may perform adequately for limited uses.
- Buying it on package deals. It almost sounds too good to be true, buying a package deals which includes the DSLR body, kit lens, memory card, tripod, back-up battery and more for hundred dollars off the original price. However, be careful before you spend your hard-earned money. While these deals may save you money, they may not save as much money as specified by individual products manufacturer’s retail prices and sometimes these deals are just ways of immoral dealers to make a few extra cash on the side, selling substandard equipments in combination lot that seems like a huge bargains for the buyers that are not prepared.

What is the best Nikon 50mm lens to use with a Nikon FM?
I know that it has the Nikon F mount, but was wondering what 50mm lens it came with. Also does anybody know anything about the E series lenses? Are they a lower quality nikon lens?
The best Nikon 50mm lenses, either the Nikon/Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens or the more expensive 50mm f/1.4 lens. You can get a used AI lens or a modern AF lens.
Look here for more on series E lenses:
http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/classics/emfgfg20/eserieslenses/index.htm
Short answer: in terms of optical quality, they are okay; in terms of build quality, they are inferior to a non-series E lens, with more plastic used in the lens body.
And yes, a series E lens will mount and work on the Nikon FM.
