Not all people like the idea of lomography. After all, it is about taking what most would call amateur images. See, lomography is just about taking shots and making sure that the shots are as casual as they already are. In fact, you would need a camera that is inexpensive compared to the high-end digital cameras that most of the world is in love with today.

Lomography Diana 35mm back question?

On my Lomo Diana F+ with 35mm back how do i know whether to set it to the "N" or "F" settting? I am using Fujicolor Superior X-tra Film 400 iso. Also how do i tell which to use for future when I start using different kinds of film? Thanks!

The Diana F+ has a N and B shutter setting, and the 35mm back has a N and P setting. I am unaware of a "F" setting.

Shutter settings. For everyday and flash photos, you would normally use the N setting, which is about a 1/100 of a second. You might use the B setting (Bulb) for long exposure photos, or interesting blur photos with some action frozen with the flash. When set to B, the lens will stay open for as long as you hold the shutter down. This is only necessary in low light conditions, and use of a tripod is recommended.

35mm back settings. Use P if you are using one of the wider panoramic masks. Set it to N if using one of the 35mm frame sized masks. The use of this setting is dependent on what sort of negative you want, not on the type of film used.
