Here are some more information for Lomo Flash:

BY now, most people are familiar with Web applications such as Google Documents, Zoho, and ThinkFree, which offer some of the features of traditional office productivity software through the browser. These so-called Web 2.0 applications are attractive, because people don't need to download or install any software to use them. What's more, they're often free and usually work on any operating system--Windows, Mac OS X or Linux--because they are run through the browser.
But Web developers haven't stopped at word processing, spreadsheets, or presentation programs. These days, there's a whole slew of Web sites that do other things too.
PHOTO EDITING. Because of the large amount of data that needs to be manipulated, photo or image editing was once deemed unsuitable for online processing. These days, with broadband connections and faster processors, many Web sites enable you to manipulate or retouch photos then save them to disk or send them to an online photo service. All of them offer the rudimentary ability to rotate, scale and crop images, but some of the better ones listed here go beyond these functions and offer a number of special effects as well.
Picnik (http://www.picnik.com)
is a slick, Flash-based editing program that lets you upload photos from your computer or pull them from Flcker, Picasa or Facebook for editing. Picnik requires that you register (free) and log in before getting started. The interface is simple and intuitive, and processing is surprisingly fast for a Web-based application. Conveniently, the scroll wheel on the mouse zooms in and out of the photo. An Autofix function fixes photos with one click, but you can also adust brightness, contrast and levels manually. Colors, too, can be adjusted automatically or manually. The program will also enable you to sharpen a photo and correct it for red eye. The "Creative" tab gives you access to 20 special effects, some of which will eventually be available only on a paid, premium package. For now, they're still free. When you're done editing your image, you can send it on to Flickr, Picasa or Facebook, e-mail it to a number of other photo sites, or save it back to your hard disk.
Fauxto (http://www.fauxto.com), another Flash-based program, comes closest to working like Adobe Photoshop and is the only online image editor that features layers. Unlike all other Web-based editors, Fauxto will also enable you to rotate images in discreet steps, instead of in 90-decree turns. You also have access to a number of layer effects such. Unfortunately, unlike Photoshop, Fauxto doesn't enable you to select irregularly shaped portions of the image, thereby limiting the versatility of layers. A drawback, particularly compared to Picnik, is Fauxto's speed--or lack of it, especially when uploading files for editing. I also managed to crash Fauxto a number of times. Registration is also required.
Pixenate (http://pixenate.com) is an Ajax-based image manipulation program that is extremely easy to use. No log-in is required. You simply choose an image to edit from your hard disk or from a Website, manipulate it, then save it back to disk or upload it to Flickr. Buttons on the left panel give you easy access to the undo, redo, enhance, fill light, crop, resize, rotate, spirit level, read eye, sepia, and color adjustments. The program also has eight special effects, including lomo, filter, round, interlace, snow, text, oil paint and charcoal.
INSTANT MESSAGING. Ever have to use instant messaging software on a machine that didn't have the program you needed installed? Meebo (http://www.meebo.com) solves the IM blues by enabling you to chat online wherever you are. The site supports Aim, Yahoo, Google Talk, MSN and its own Meebo networks. No need to download software. Just log in to the appropriate service and start chatting.
FILE CONVERSION. Having to deal with multiple file formats is a fact of life. Zamzar (http://zamzar.com) makes it easier by enabling you to convert from one document, audio, or even video format to another. Significantly, it claims to convert docx files created by MS Office 2007 to a number of more common document formats, including doc, pdf and rtf. Zamzar will also convert from one audio format to another, with support files being aac, ac3, flac, m4a, mp3, ogg, ra, ram, wav, and wma. I tried converting a 3MB mp3 file to a number of formats, but only ran into trouble converting to ogg. Zamzar also supports 3gp, avi, flv, gvi, m4v, mov, mp4, rm, rmvb, vob and wmv video files, but you won't be able to convert any full-length movies this way--the site has a 100MB limit.
Few of these Web-based applications will completely replace their desktop counterparts any time soon, but at a pinch, they ought to come in handy.

A Stylish Samsung S5150 Diva Debuts this January
There are few mobile phones out there with a distinctly unique styling that shouts “I’m a woman” inside and out. Here’s an addition from the Korean mobile phone giant Samsung. It’s the new Samsung S5150 Diva folder that will be out this coming January with other new Samsung lady phones. It’s not a fashion phone in the tradition of Prada, a D&G or an Armani.
But it oozes with just about the same fashion statement right out of the box without bothering those high fashion houses. The body texturing is what makes it stand out. It sports a three dimensional sculpted cube pattern that makes handling it a novel feel in your hands.
Great Specs for the Ladies
This is a basic mobile phone that has decent hardware features on a handsome, or rather pretty clamshell/folder body measuring 94.0 x 47.0 x 17.4 mm when closed and weighing a very light pocket-friendly 82.8 grams. It’s a tri band GSM900/1800/1900 with GPRS/EDGE.
There’s no 3G or WiFi which is understandable on an entry-level basic mobile phone. But you still get Bluetooth 2.0 for wireless high speed data synching between your handset and Bluetooth devices. Its other features include the following:
- You get a 2.2-inch TFT LCD display with QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution and 16 million colors typical on any entry level mobile phones these days. It has a secondary display when the folder is closed but it’s monochromatic and neatly buried under the sculpted textured body. It is limited to displaying battery status, date and time and a flashing alert when there’s an incoming call or text message.
- Picture-taking comes with a decent 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with QVGA video recording. It has a software-assisted Beauty Effect that automatically enhances close-up portrait shots and a Lomo effect for clear old-style shots.
- Multimedia functions include media players that supports playback of popular audio and video file formats and comes with an FM radio with Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP so can use wireless stereo earphones. You won’t be able to use its 40 MB internal memory for storing large media files but you can use microSD cards up to 32 GB for this purpose.
- Its light 800 mAh lithium-ion battery powers the handset for up to 7 hours of talk time and 7.8 days of standby time.
- Software-wise, the Samsung S5150 Diva comes with a customized TouchWiz user interface that is decidedly feminine in execution and style. It features women-centric application like a shopping “Wish List” to keep tabs of you desired items to buy. It also has an “etiquette mode” that silences the phone when needed in a meeting or social gathering. Internet browsing, email and instant messaging are supported.
Coming Out January
Samsung’s new lady phone is expected to hit the European markets this January together with other new handsets to greet the New Year for the Korean mobile phone maker. Russia will get it first, followed by the Ukraine, the Netherlands and then the rest of Europe thereafter. No pricing information has yet been released but we don't expect the Samsung S5150 Diva to be anywhere near a mid-price category. Your local network carrier will most likely have it free on a 12-month contract.
