If you're a fan of lighter woods, Lighthouse is an excellent choice, made from white oak with ½ inch thickness. It comes in 6 1/2 inch planks.

Places you must visit in Barcelona
Barcelona in itself does not need much support to get attention;just the name alone and the phonetic of each letter is enough to make its presence known. It stands out with a rich cultural heritage that calls all onlookers to see it in its fame and glory. Every year, millions of tourists visit Barcelona, and it is for a good cause: who wants to spend their hard earned money on just about any tourist location?
The atmosphere that it has is almost 'intoxicating' to the many that have graced its streets; and it is really difficult to leave and not be engulfed by all is surrounding, people, food and culture. Barcelona, just like many other fantastic places in the world has it strong points that anyone that is visiting would be amiss not to see.
Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, the Palau de la Música is one of the the most representative forms of modernism architecture. Constructed between 1905 and 1908 by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, this rare construction is strong reference of the Spanish's patriotism. The building;however, is not the gem it itself , but the spectacular performances of music that have bellowed throughout its walls in English,Spanish, Catalan and whatever other language that wishes to honour it.
The Barcelona Opera House is another icon that stands on a pedestal all to itself. With capacity for 2,300 people, many can come in and enchant themselves while the pleasing melodies of opera reverberate from the voice box of English, Spanish and Catalan speakers. This is a definite 'must-see' attraction for anyone that gets excited with the sound, smell and look of culture.
For unique foodstuffs, the Boqueira Market is great place to visit to get a feel and taste of Barcelona's. It has a wide array of foodstuff and everything is so neatly laid out to appeal to the hungry and curious traveller. Many people often times overlook this detail about a country, but if you intend to have a real intimate experience while travelling, going to see locals and hear then bargain away in their country to offer what they hold dearest to their hearts at a reasonable price is magical.
Anyone that has seen the light, water and music show will agree that it is just divine. The technical genius behind this gave more than just a special effect charade;beyond doubt it is a mixture of culture, art and nature all in one.
For anti-cultural activists who would prefer to spend their time shopping and buying different items than partaking in operas, museums and cathedrals, then the Maremagnum is the place to be. Open all year round, regardless of holiday, special event and maybe natural disasters, this 365 day shopping is great for people looking back to take to a piece of Barcelona with them. Just about anything that is conceivable to the human imagination can be found there, and with a little tact and forced Spanish accent it may be possible to even get a special deal!

My cat has a few sores on her head and it is swollen around it. What do I do?
I am terrified, I just got back from vacation and my cat has few little red sores on her head. All the fur around it is gone and there is a little bit of swelling in the area of the marks. I can only see to red marks, but there is a little bit more matted fur above it. She is acting a little strange, and I don't know what to do. She also keeps closing the eye that is bellow the marks. Is it possible that she got bitten by a snake? The spots seem a little close together for a snake. Bit is it normal for there to be swelling around a normal cat scratch or cat bite? Please if anyone can Help Delia and I will much appreciate it!
Why a snake - do you live around snakes?
Your cat sounds like it has some type of puncture wound on its head. Yes, cat scratches and bites can cause swelling, inflammation and infection. You should clean the area with a warm, wet, soapy towel and rinse the area GENTLY but thoroughly. Then let it dry and put a good coat of neosporin on it - but the cat will try to clean it off and could get sick so watch her and expect it will happen (it should not harm her).
The area can get infected and swell up - so keep an eye on it. If it does - and I mean swollen like a marble - apply warm compresses to it to drain the pus. But if you clean it now and apply neosproin daily 2-3 times a day as needed and just basically keep the cat in an make it rest - it should get better within a week and scab over nicely.
The cat is probably closing that eye because: 1.) the sore above is making it sensitive 2.) it got injured (scratched). So keep an eye on that too. You may need to take your cat to a vet if the eye looks to be getting worse. But rest will really help her a lot. Try not to panic and fuss over her. Just clean her up, put neosporin on and let her rest.
