This is encouraging and the workout method with this device certainly strains the muscles in a totally different way than you would have experienced by doing traditional weight lifting workouts. However, it is likely that all the models on the infomercial were hired because they already had great bodies before they ever tried this product. Take all these points into consideration.

The Shake Weight does seem to work as far as it stimulates the arm muscles. However, whether it is really a better way to tone your arms is another question.

The nice thing about Pentax DSLR's is you can get inexpensive manual focus lenses that work just fine. Pentax SMC-A 50mm f2 (nice for low light a f1.7 or 1.4 will do better) F2 - $50 (ebay), f1.7 $70, f1.4 ($100)
