Only a few weeks before last Christmas, I decided to make Christmas Sheet Music available as downloads on my website. What happened next was a huge surprise event to me! I earned over $3,000 in just 6 weeks by posting a measly 11 public domain songs on my website! So, how is this possible?

Once it’s done, it can be downloaded millions of times, and the money generated from those sales are passive income. It’s money that I don’t have to work for again. The only thing I have to do now is find the time to write more music, transcribe my piano solos, and offer up even more arrangements that pianists will enjoy playing.

Should a profit and loss sheet also show current stock or is it just sales and overheads?
Should the balance sheet only show the stocks and creditors?
Stock (inventory) is an current asset to the company and so should not appear on the P&L (Income Statement).
As an asset it should appear under the "Current Asset" heading of the Balance Sheet.
