How to get rid of a wallpaper photo on a Mac screen?

Accidentally applied one through I Photos, and now can't figure out how to get it off of there and back to a blank blue screen. thanks!

Hi Carrie,

Not a problem. First you need to get into your System Preferences settings. That's the little light switch icon on your dock. If you don't have it there anymore you can go up to the little blue apple menu at the top left and then down to the System Preferences... menu command.

Under the Personal heading click on the Desktop & Screen Saver icon. Now, click on the Desktop tab/button at the top. On the left side-bar, click on the Choose Folder... to find another image, or any of the other folders inside the side-bar. You'll be given a file dialog box where you can look for an appropriate graphic to use.
