There are many opinions regarding the adequacy of Self Talk and how it helps a person in improving his or her life. Every person is different and no two people are likely to gain the exact same results out of the same process.

How to keep the self timer from resetting to single shot mode in the Nikon D40?

After every shot with the mode changes back to single shot from self-timer. I'd like it to stay in that mode even if I turn it off and turn it on again. Is this possible? I'm taking a lot of shots at night time on a tripod and I don't have a remote yet (plan to get one soon).

I have a little more advanced Nikon DSLR, so did not know about this issue with the D40. I can see where spending the less than $20 for the ML-L3 remote would save a lot of frustration.
