The Sony HDR-XR200VE is a full HD camcorder which will record quality 1920x1080 video footage in AVCHD format onto it's internal 120GB hard disk drive. 120GB is enough space to fit about 50 hours of continuous high definition footage.

If 50 hours isn't enough space there is the option to add additional memory stick media which will increase the recording time further.

This camcorder uses high quality components to capture a high quality image. Here is the rumor:

Yashica ML 50mm 1.4 and the more prestige Carl Zeiss Planar (Contax) 50mm 1.4 were made in the same factory in Japan. Rumor is that the two lenses were manufactured in the same way using probably the same material and the only differences are probably the physical appearance and somewhat different coating.

You will really have to contact Contax to know for sure.
